Gina Zaragoza received a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Southern California in 1992. She continued her education at The Law Center at USC, earning a Juris Doctorate in 1996.
From 1997 to 2004, employed by the Children's Law Center of Los Angeles, she represented children and parents in numerous matters concerning child abuse and neglect. In 2004, Ms. Zaragoza began working as a sole practitioner. That same year, she became a contract attorney for the California Parole Advocacy Program, representing parolees before the Board of Parole Hearings.
Ms. Zaragoza also taught at L.A. Mission College, Paralegal Studies program from 2015 to 2019.
Ms. Zaragoza currently practices in the areas of family based immigration, naturalization, DACA renewals, U visas, VAWA, and juvenile dependency appeals. "
